Island Wednesday 8.24.11- About.me Contest

For this week’s Island Wednesday Cisco’s got something special.  He has some friends over at about.me and they just told him about this dope contest to get your face on a billboard in Times Square!

If you haven’t heard of about.me, it was created as a way to bring all of your online profiles like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube to just one place.  Check out Cisco’s profile and then make your own so you can enter.  The contest just kicked off, and goes until Tuesday, 9/20

HOW TO ENTER:

All you have to do is create an about.me profile page.  Put up a picture, your name, a few words about yourself, and as many links to your Facebook, Twitter, blogs, and other sites as you want.  Make sure to add "Bananabeater" to the headline or bio to qualify for a special prize pack from Bananabeat Records, New Era, and Oakley.

Once your profile is up and running, click the 'Opt-in Now' button in the top right corner of your profile.  Then promote your page to your friends so they vote for you.  All they need to do is go to your profile page and click vote (everyone gets one vote per profile per day).

There will be ten winners.  All ten will get their about.me profile on a billboard in Times Square (the billboard will rotate through the ten profiles).

The top three winners will also get a free trip to NYC (you even get to bring a friend) for a VIP party to celebrate and check out the billboard under the city lights.  The billboard will be revealed in Times Square on 10/1 and the trip to NYC will be in early October (date to be confirmed).

Pre-orders for Island In The Sun are now available on iTunes and shwayzeandcisco.com!  If you order from iTunes you’ll receive the album, the music video for “You Could Be My Girl,” and a full-color album artwork booklet on the day of album release.

If you order from Shwayze & Cisco’s online store, you’ll instantly receive a code to download both "Drunk Off Your Love (feat. Sky Blu of LMFAO)" and "The W's EP".  All pre-order options come with the digital album on the day of release.
