In 2021, OKAY!! OKAY!! Marketing & Creative laid the foundation for the Vermont Health Equity Initiative (VHEI) by crafting a compelling brand identity that included logo creation, a cohesive social media strategy, and a dynamic website launch. These efforts were pivotal in promoting BIPOC COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics, significantly contributing to Vermont's milestone of being the first state to reach an 80% vaccination rate. Our strategic approach involved developing art-based graphics, educational tools, and grassroots advertising to encourage vaccination among BIPOC communities.
As we moved into 2022-2023, our partnership with VHEI deepened. We refreshed their brand identity to keep it aligned with evolving goals and redesigned an intricate social media campaign that further engaged the community. This campaign was supplemented with meticulously crafted health blog posts, written on behalf of the client, to provide ongoing education and support. These posts are featured on VHEI’s website, offering insights into health equity issues and spotlighting community stories.
Our work continued to be nimble, adapting rapidly to changing CDC guidelines and ensuring that our messaging remained relevant and effective. From managing social media and public relations to organizing virtual community events, we ensured that VHEI’s communication efforts were comprehensive and impactful, reinforcing their mission to promote health equity across Vermont.
